The Strange Moments
The Strange Moments
Haven’t you ever wondered
How the time slips away?
Leaving behind nothing
But vague traces of sorrow and merriment.
Lining the memories of moments,
Suddenly gone astray.
How strange is the fact
Those joyful moments
Could not last long enough
To suck in frivolous and merry time
But still, they last long enough
To etch their existence in the inexplicable tale of time
You were a passenger of this unending bizarre caravan
Who crossed paths with me,
For what felt like an instant,
And vanished in the thin air.
And then, that time felt very distant
I remember the beautiful smile,
With curves stretching amazingly
All the way up to your black deep set eyes
Leaving behind nothing more than a
Pretty impression of your cherubic flawless profile!
The memories are pleasing,
The unfulfilled desires are aching;
And that’s how life goes on...
Nothing can give full satisfaction
Just some souvenirs to live by
While the time moves on
Memories of time spent long ago
Memories of you
Are safely locked up,
In the unbreakable safe of my heart.
And now, we carry on our journey
In this unfathomable time cart.
