A Dream
A Dream
Remember the solace of spring morn,
Serene and pure,
When we lay together long ago,
Wrapped in the tenderness of pain and love
Rejoicing in the benign dreams
That we knew could never come true.
The time stopped there, as we passed by,
My heart resided there with you,
Contented yet constricted
While my life paced away
Lost somewhere in hurrying world of new sorrows and joy.
The meteor that crashed in the placid sea of my heart
Long ago, stayed there forever and ever
As I journeyed on this caravan,
Cherishing the dream
That we once saw together.
