The Dance In Forest
The Dance In Forest
The endless path curved below
As I trampled across a sequestered forest trail
The shadows of night were dancing all around
Mocking the loneliness
Of a traveler, making his way towards uncertainty
Crying silently in the cover of dense shadows
While his life wails
I see a silver fox dancing alone
In the faint streaks of moonlight
That escaped the harsh density of canopy above
And filled the life of that desolated animal
With radiance of joy
And colors of that exuberant night
I watched the animal enjoying
Enjoying the moments of his short blissful life
Gathering the glee of the nightly forest
Dancing a delightful dance
Triumphing over the barrenness and misery
Of his once pleasing life
I felt a wave of compassion and alikeness
Sweep over me in those few instance
How likely the two creatures could be
In the world so big and vibrant
I sucked in the frivolous truth grinning jubilantly
And moved towards the creature
To be a companion in his alluring life dance.
