‘I love you wished I could fearlessly say this word,

Hoping deep down my actions were heard.

When I’d tear other pages late at night,

Making more space for our memories to write.

When you asked me where I belong and I said in your arm,

To prepare a good breakfast waking to the 5 am alarms.

Looking in the mirror I’d always measure my waist,

Since slim girls were so your taste.

When I’d listen about how bad your day went,

I baked love into cookies to show you how much you meant.

I held your hand and gently kissed your tear,

Got us matching pendants so you knew I was always near.

When I’d treat you to ice cream and rub the leftovers off your cheek,

I’d let you get away when late at night inside the house you'd sneak.

I’d play with your locks of hair while you’d try to concentrate,

In the movie, we were replaying cuz you thought it was so great!

I let it pass When you’d make me define the colour of my skin,

‘Cuz You said you’d still stay forever through thick or thin.

Guess forever didn’t last long,

Now here I am still singing ‘our’ song.

I guess it’s better to leave some words unsaid,

‘Cuz it hurts less when it's not delivered than forever left on reading.
