We say it’s an unforgettable act or sin,
But we still comment on other’s religion
We shame ‘em for being simple and satisfied
But our whole life isn’t that what we tried?
We’ll pity how long ago their family died.
So how in ‘oneness’ do we still take pride.
We’ll allow them to wear whatever you want,
But our ridicules forever shall haunt.
We’ll tell you “be free too!”
As long as you’re fitting in the mold created for you.
“Oh don’t worry about the acne in your skin,
But why are you so skinny and thin? ".
You can fall in love with whoever you pick,
But before for confirming send us a pic,
We know you’re fighting battles deep down
Stop acting like you’re fine, you have to frown
We say we respect your roots and choice,
But if you’ll speak we’ll silence your voice
From you’re twinkling eye we’ll steal that glow
So just like us you can learn and grow.
“I want to leave!” you beg and shout,
But now that you’re in, you can’t get out!
