The sea was unforgiving,

Unafraid and unearthly.


Fought against the cliff all night.

But the cliff didn’t budge at all.


The sea got annoyed,

The waves went mad.


Yet, the cliff stood firmly.

Holding its ground.


 The sea was furious.

This time a tsunami swept.


The cliff was flooded.

But, it did not drown.


The sea tried again.

Now, with thunder and lightning.


A rock fell down.

Yet, the cliff didn’t tumble down.


The mighty sea soon realized,

The mistake she was making.


Cold and miserable, though she was,

She apologized with all her heart.


The sea soon went back to her old ways,

For that day never came.
