I belong...
I belong...
The waves did toss, like a lion they did roar.
As they wrecked my hopes upon the shore.
Dark skies and stormy waters,
Made it difficult to pass with my fellow sailors.
The next moment, I saw the sun shine,
Even the clouds made a different design.
The rays brought us hope,
So we with the stormy waters did cope.
We escaped from the sea’s fury,
Nightmare of abandoning ship and injury.
The sailors talked laughed and hopped about,
As they continued catching their dinner: salmon and trout.
The magic of hope will never die,
‘Cause this allows many more birds to fly.
I had craved for this hope for so long,
It made me feel where I belonged.
