Rain

The thunder rolled in the sky

The clouds poured their heart out

The sun has hidden 

And the flood gates of heaven opened

The waters from heaven

came rushing down to earth

To Quench its thirst

And cooling it down

The streets flooded 

And the passersbys 

Searched for the shelter

I stood in the middle of the streets 

Reminiscing the childhood

With a bag on my back 

Splashing the water 

running in the streets 

Without any worry 

Just enjoying the chatter of the rain

Listening to the best music 

The pitter patter of the rain

Today also I am standing

In the middle of the street

With the pouring rain

And a bag of worries
