In A Rainy Day

In a rainy day...

the cool breeze was caressing my hair,

suddenly, two little shivering hands

Came my way to encircle my entire existence,

disturbing my solacing solitude,

Which was not at all fair..!

In a rainy day...

the drizzling was lovely and showering,

suddenly two little arms

came my way to warm up with my embrace,

dragging my whole body and soul,

which was enticing and overpowering...

In a rainy day..

the sky was drowsy and the rain was at its height..

the laughing crowd was all around,

there came the exciting face, just off my balance,

Carrying me into the drenched ground

with a burst of laughter and ready to fight..

In a rainy day...

Alas...!the cool breeze, the drizzling rain, the 

thundering sky, all are there...

but, the little hand, little arm, and the exciting face, all are a hallucination, my heart is aching,

to have a glance, looking here and there...!
