The Paranormal

The Paranormal

It all began five years behind,

Some memories still haunt my mind.

The notion of those entities,

Are as true as the unfurled breeze.

The college gang had a roadside trip,

We packed our items in a jeep.

Hoodless driving thrills my heart,

And driving is my favourite art.

We giggled through those silent lanes,

Untill we felt drops of rains.

And in another minute or two,

We were drenched black and blue.

Trisha spoke in a spooky voice,

Guys, can you hear that murmuring noise?

Rohan laughed in a casual tone,

Are we all in a haunted zone?

I was seated on the driving seat,

We drove through fields of canes and wheat.

Night was pouring in black and dark,

No tinge of a light, no human mark.

I glanced a while to see my watch,

The hour's hand was about to touch;

The number nine and a nine o clock,

The night was mirky like a rock.

We parked infront of a rusted gate,

A little bulb must light our fate.

Priya was anxious, she held my hand,

Dip, I feel it's a haunted land.

Relax girl, it's a fictitious whim,

It's real world, not a fancy dream.

Rohan was sounding carefree though,

But I could see a cloudy glow.

We walked inside the rusted door,

Our torches could hardly show the floor.

It was dark, too dense to walk,

We stumbled over the broken rocks.

A man walked out with blotted attire,

He held a candle with flickering fire.

He whispered in an eerie voice,

Please let me know your dinner choice.

I walked up bold and spoke to him,

Uncle, we are hear to shoot a film.

We need footage of each a nook,

We need pictures for the book.

The old man grinned with yellow lips,

Can you take back all those clips?

She will never let you click,

Her spirit is lethal, she's not weak.

Rohan walked ahead to talk,

Do you think we are here to stalk?

I hope you have got a call,

We have booked this blooming hall.

Sir, I know you have paid a lot,

I do respect your work and thoughts.

But I have been a part of this,

It has been my only niche.

Come inside, I will speak each tale,

This house is gloomy, walls are pale.

It brings destruction, pulls down death,

It's beyond the norms of truth and faith.

Her name is Heena, I have known

Her, I have heard her groan.

She stayed here with her only dad,

But her fate was dark and bad.

Her dad was filled of filth and dirt,

He craved to touch her private parts.

He seeked a chance to grab her tight,

And finally came that gloomy night.

He jumped and ripped her skin apart,

Pushing himself to pierce her heart.

She groaned in agony, seeked for help,

But her dad still forced himself.

She breathed her last breath on the floor,

Untill she saw him shut the door.

He lost somewhere into the dark,

No one has ever seen his mark.

I had always been with them,

Like a tree, the strongest stem.

I worked for them for more than a score,

I can count each walls and floor.

She fell prey to tricky plans,

Her filthy dad craved for a chance.

He asked me to take a leave for a day,

And I never felt his slippery play.

Her soul is thirsty, still in pain,

She wafts inside these gloomy lanes.

She is burning out in rage,

Locked inside this dismal cage.

You can stay here, cherish the night,

She will never cause you fright.

Let her live in her world of pain,

Never ever come back again.

The candle with its flickering flame,

Gave us goosebumps in her name.

I looked a while on the window pane,

Few words were scribbled with drops of rain.

Let me live a peaceful life,

I truly want no death and strife.

Never ever come here again,

Let me smile in my world of pain.

I planned to leave with my team,

With scattered pieces of my broken dream.

I felt her pain in every breath,

An untold story of Heena's death.
