THE OLD BEGGAR
THE OLD BEGGAR
Beggar, beggar, beggar,
Sweet little beggar
Aren't you hungry dear?
Or begging is your fear?
Shivering
in the cold,
Dear one you need to be bold.
Self respect you have sold,
Hardships are in your fold.
You cannot fulfil your basic necessity,
Is this your only capacity?
I know
that you are tired,
Neither you nor your parents are hired.
