The Night Of Doom

It was a dark room

Someone was there

I was in a total doom

I was full of scare.

The door banged with a thud

I was about to scream

I saw footprints, pinched myself

It wasn't a dream.

Then I heard a loud shout

Someone called for help

The door was locked, couldn't go out

All I could do was a yelp.

My eyes fell on a hammer

I took it and broke the lock

The door opened, and I ran out

I was in complete shock.

I opened my eyes

It was daylight

I heaved a sigh of relief

The room was lit and was so bright

It was just a dream.
