Life

Life, a four-letter word,

It may seem small,

But it's not,

It's not at all!

What is this life?

What does it mean?

If I didn't have a life,

What would have it been?

Life is a road,

A road of prickly thorns,

A road is full of stones.

Life is a maze,

Sometimes you may fall,

Sometimes you may fail,

But amidst all of this,

You mustn't stop,

You must keep going,

You must reach till the end.

It is good and it is bad,

Sometimes you are happy and sometimes sad,

And when the stone hits you,

It tears you apart,

It hurts your soul,

But you must not worry,

You must get up,

Once again start your journey,

Amidst the shadows of the dark,

You must find your spark.

There will be stones,

There will be thorns,

Our hearts will break many times,

But we mustn't stop,

Keep going till the end,

And when you reach the end,

You now can look behind,

And see how far you've come,

Amidst the dark shadows,

You can see the brightness of the sun.
