The Homeless Man
The Homeless Man
Many a time we see a man,
Scouring for food near the garbage can.
Tattered torn clothes cover his body,
Smelly and dirty, his hair so shabby.
With no place, he can call his abode,
He walks the lanes and sleeps on the road...
Ever wondered what made him so?
What happened to stop his cash flow?
Forget it if you don't wanna get into the depths,
But at least hand him some food before you left.
He may be poor and also insane,
But remember that you still can be humane.
Whenever you come across someone homeless,
Give them food and water as an act of kindness.
At times it's difficult to go that extra mile,
But it's worth it when you get that genuine smile
Makes you believe you tried and did a good deed,
Helping hands are better than praying lips indeed...
Next time you see a homeless man,
Try and help him just because you can!
