For years we have been made to fight,

With one thing or the other with all our might..

We struggled hard to forget and forgive,

With barely enough food and water to live..

Every time a calamity struck,

We crumble and our progress is stuck..

Each time we pick up the broken pieces,

And build ourselves together as a strong species...

Until now it was just a part of the world,

But this time the pandemic is unseen and untold..

Never ever before has it been so vast,

Sparing no one, no matter what creed or caste..

Although we may be a little slow to begin,

This time too we shall fight and win..

Let's start doing what needs to be done,

Whatever the situation, together we can surely overcome...
