The Fire, that she is

It’s she- her fire spread warmth;

A fire, that burns to give you light;

A fire in her passion, as it imparts heat;

The fire that she is: she can sacrifice herself,

Offer her dedication, to let you receive the limelight.

Till the time the fire had abided by your choice,

You wished to remain in her world of ecstasy;

But, her fire burnt brighter with time and fame;

Your love had nurtured it, letting it to flourish,

                      And grow out of its infancy.

As long as the fire obeyed your commands,

You were content with its existence;

What if your volatile desires change their course?

Your displeasure shall encourage your latent intent

                             of annihilating its presence!

She was the fire, as she had provided warmth;

The fire, that she was, as she burnt herself and imparted light;

Without your love, she will turn into a lump of coal, cold and white.

Ashes of her devotion and passion shall be her last offering,

to the inferno of your selfish mind and carnal delight!
