Every sad melody reminds me of you,

But so do the joyous ones.

All my sorrows eventually lead me to you,

But so do my untroubled and carefree moments. 

I tried time and again

To open my heart for you to walk away,

But you have yourself rooted deep,

Deep inside the nucleus of my body and soul,

You refuse to leave and I refuse to let you go,

But where does that take me?

I’m forever stuck in this labyrinth, 

Going over everything again and again,

Putting you before the entire world,
