Human Migration
Human Migration
The people were working,
Making little bit of money,
Satisfying their hunger,
And having good time,
With their families,
Without any stress and strain.
Suddenly a pandemic broke out,
Everyone was caught napping,
Lockdown was applied,
Became jobless,
No money left,
How to survive.
They were in awkward situation,
Now what to do,
Landlord was demanding his rent,
You need money,
To feed yourself,
Their was hardly any source.
They decided to move,
With belongings on head,
All they way on foot,
It was a journey,
Of hundreds of miles,
Without any place to rest.
They walked and walked,
Some died during this exodus,
Some lost limb,
But they never stopped,
Until reached destination,
Never seen before.
The authorities faltered,
By not arranging transportation,
But how could they have,
Because disease was highly contagious,
Atleast food could have been provided,
No one could have died of hunger.
No where seen such a migration,
It was a humgous tragedy,
People were uprooted,
And forced to move,
Hundreds of miles,
Without knowing whether they will survive.
