The Flame

Roaring waves,

Rumbling clouds,

Raging winds,

All say it aloud-

Love is a flame:

It kindles quietly in heart,

Glows in darkness,

And warmth it does impart-

    only…

when handled with care

and nurtured with oil of ‘patience’.

If the wick is free from the dust of mistrust,

it continues to have its luminescence….

The flame will then burn bright forever,

Against all darkness, all storm-

Proudly carrying its iridescence,

amidst turbulences of any form.
