She holds my hand
She holds my hand
A hand to hold mine always,
To let me stay strong;
It makes me believe in myself
Accepting me, the way I am, to where I belong.
A heart, that would cry for me when I am sad,
Rarely shows its own tears;
It intends to make me determined and persevering,
That I must not break down or give up, it fears!
A hand that holds mine always, whether near or far-
that doesn't much applaud my actions, but reassures me;
If ever, my confidence shakes, O my friend,
You, as ever, vest your faith and confidence in me.
