Scars and bruises

You have tried your best to hide those,

But I have tried my best in searching for them.

I can see those scars,

those bruises, all over the place.

You have really kept them cold,

cold enough to melt.

You see, these are just marks,

Or traces of your vulnerability.

I've seen you scratch them to endure the pain.

You have left them open,

waiting for them to heal.

But those are ripped peices of your soul, scattered in that space,

I can see them running through your eyes, I can see them fading in those smiles.

You have them everywhere,

those are the scars of love,

Of love which never belonged to you.

I can always see them,

Because I have them too.
