Gentle exception
Gentle exception
Once I chose the untrodden path
I never knew time may harm my emotion
By then I saw much of the world
Got carried away by a "gentle exception"
It bruised me from head to toe, I ended up being frustrated
But I chased my whim, never believed what others said
Maybe I should have followed the trodden path
For clichés are often said to be "safe" and "trusted"
I was blacklisted from the rest of the generation,
Denied expressing the truth.
Forgot that humans are devoid of hearts
They said, "truth and virtues are wrong addictions."
Do not follow exceptions, my dear fellows
It will cost you your time, your patience will drain
But I will still spend my saving on buying grief
Because exception whispers "no pain no gain."
