The hypocrisy of the society is unbelievable

The educated are unemployed and the ministers incapable,

Cows roam free on the streets while daughters are confined

Justice is delayed before it is denied

Population is out of control, politics instable,

The hypocrisy of the society is unbelievable.

The good days were coming, or so was said

most of the hopes are already dead,

Corruption has spread worse than the black plague

The future of the youth lies in vague

“Incredible India” remains a fable

The hypocrisy of the society is unbelievable.

Religion causes wars, 

the girl child is killed in the womb,

Forests are regularly depleting,

 nature cries in the face of its doom

What have we done ? Where are we leading ?

It is our inner demons that we are constantly feeding.

A better tomorrow is just a myth

An end of the world more achievable

The hypocrisy of the society is unbelievable.

I was waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel,

But its only darkness what I see,

The hypocrisy of the society is a fact,

But the society is me.
