The Virus, You and Me
The Virus, You and Me
Floating in the air, easily
Unseen, untouched, totally.
I fly and go inside a dark hole,
sometimes small, sometimes wide.
I love to see what lurks
and destroy anything that works.
I like younglings
or those who're old like tree rings.
But I'd take an adult with equal ease
and give them sneeze after sneeze.
See the virus in the air?
Well how can you, isn't it unfair?
It is tiny and invisible,
yet it comes in and makes us dull.
No masks just parties
Little children or people in forties
. Why don't you all understand a simple thing?
Wear your masks or hospitals will go cha-ching!
I am not a germophobe
But I'll just say this and I hope,
That you all pay heed
And stop all these misdeeds.
I hope I wouldn't have to repeat
and see you fine whenever we meet.
