last night I barged out of my
parent's house in anger and
just kept on walking till I
saw the railway tracks.

the dimly-lit station
platform was still buzzing with
old drunks and gamblers - they
had cheap liquor to spare, in
exchange for my watch.

I gulped down the bottle and
it burned my throat with its
warmth but made all the pain
go away in seconds, and the
last train zoomed past us.

suddenly a fight broke out between
two blokes over something I couldn't
hear, and escalated badly. I ran home
and listened to Morrissey on the radio.
