The Creep In The Woods
The Creep In The Woods
Long ago, in the midst of the woods,
Under a long branch, an outlaw stood,
He stood day and night,
Ever so carefully and out of sight.
His eyes, a dark brown,
Ever so sincere since he left town,
His dark hair sleeked back,
Alone he wanders with his empty sack.
Day by day, he looks for food,
And hides his head under a mysterious hood,
I saw him the other day,
Under a Banyan, he lay.
He sings a melancholy tune,
Under the light of blue moon,
He comforts himself with the soft grass,<
/p>
And falls asleep really fast.
He wakes the next morn,
And goes to search for corn,
He drinks water from the spring,
With a humming tune, he sings.
He waits for the day his warrant is gone,
Until that, he continues to mourn,
His losses, his sacrifices, and his life,
Who will cure him of his ill strife?
