That Ghastly And Black Dream
That Ghastly And Black Dream
Black and red earthly demons walked by me yesterday morning.
Unbeknownst was I, for I see them often,
In the barbershop, or in the library, sometimes in the mirror
And elsewhere, as far as I can imagine.
To be aware of what you’ve gotten yourself into
Might take a toll on me being so much intrepid.
The news channels threw me light, showed me they’re demons
I contemplated the pacific ocean and felt like a tornado inside
I got out of the home with cautious steps, and there were grim faces
Trying to consume my soul garnished
With the last traces of humanity, sucked out of humans.
It’s like a virus which spreads airborne
Monsters unraveling themselves
Like the corrupt, that is shot up the power
Transforming from a butterfly into an ugly insect
Days go by, each day I quiver a little less.
Daunting demons can hardly frighten me now
Probably I have become the part of the system
As I know it because I can’t stand the mirror anymore.
