Sunshine Night
Sunshine Night
I lay awestruck on my bed,
With all world's burden on my single head.
The darkness creeps in all around,
Me, I'm helpless to make a sound.
The door to the sky is wide shut down,
Moonlight creeps in its shiny gown.
I glee, I dance and I be merry,
Till this joy of mine goes south on a ferry.
The moon the, the stars the comets and the sun,
Assure me, my part is done.
I sleep to wake up,
To a bickering sun.
Till days, weeks and months I spend in flight,
Just to hold once again my sunshine night.
