Stop, It's Enough
Stop, It's Enough
I look at the reflection in the mirror sometimes,
Not really feeling proud of what I see.
I wonder if I'll ever be able to love myself first in this lifetime,
When will I be able to know I'm good enough and run carefree?
When is "I love me" going to suffice?
I look at all the people around me,
With their high IQ's, perfect smile and perfect hair.
Life is an ocean, a vast sea,
How can we sail forward if we keep stopping to compare?
Is it selfish to put yourself first once in a while?
Counting every calorie, keeping track of every step,
Is not the way to live life.
If all humans are family and form a large web,
Then why don't the members support each other in every strife?
Isn't our greatest responsibility to love our self and know that we're more than "enough"?
