Special? Are You?!
Special? Are You?!
In the operation theatre,
The mother lay numb,
Unaware of the pangs of pain
While the child in the womb
Got entangled with the cord.
This hampered the blood flow
It couldn't reach the brain
Somehow the doctors saved the baby
She was a angle-like baby girl but
Alas! she was crippled,
After regaining consciousness,
The mother saw the baby, "What a
curse!
She can't be mine!"
And with these words from her,
The child's world became forever dark.
The lady was a 'reputed social worker'
So she couldn't give up on the child.
But did she really care for her?
an>She got servants to keep her clean, And maids to feed her the meals. Where was the motherly love? Where was the fartherly care? With the servants she found her place. Unaware of true affection, She lived through her life. Some treated her with disgust, Few with love. Some took care of her, Few took advantage of her womanhood. But who was there to see her? The parents were busy earning to pay them! The child lost her childhood and future, The parents murdered their soul, But managed to save dignity in the society. The servants got their money! And the world still stood dumb and blind!
