CREATING DISTRUST AND DISCORD
CREATING DISTRUST AND DISCORD
You don’t have to tell lies when suggesting
You have a niggling sense of unease
Can’t put your finger on it, it niggles on your mind
Say, “You would be willing to do research? So kind!”
Now, watch this person closely; trust them not
Do they have a “gotcha” smile? A spring in their step?
You don’t have to tell lies when marketing discontent
A “that’s worrying” thought is a stream before it becomes a flood
And in that flood, blood! Can we trust no one? It seems that way
It’s a matter of degree, of intensity; are we all not guilty?
Hear part of a conversation; fill in the gaps; make assumptions
Open the door to disrepute? It might be small; it might be large
It might lead to someone taking their life. Too dramatic?
A person’s life story. In certain controlled situations, might be
Material for a script; with their knowledge and consent.
Words heard are most probably not what they meant
So, take your niggling discontent, your rabid boredom
And do something constructive. Do you choose to think the worst?
That’s sad, the world has so much to offer. Do you feel hurt and wounded?
Full your time with cheating things that feed your soul. Do you despair?
It passes, with time and care. Do you have a niggling sense of unease?
Keep it to yourself. Write about it in your diary. If it’s of significance
You will detect evidence of the source of unease. At that stage
Share the evidence, weigh the facts; alert others. Act together.
