Robin

Robin

Under the berry tree,

While rocking in my chair,

I spotted a robin,

Fluttering and flapping his feathers.

Pecking holes in the berries,

Basking gloriously in amber Sun,

He fearlessly manoeuvres,

Fluttering and flapping his feathers.

Serenading me with symphonies,

Casting spell in April air,

He gleefully perches,

Fluttering and flapping his feathers.

O! bird of hope and happiness,

You fill my heart with delight,

I want to re-live my memories

And infuse a new insight.
