Wonder-Woman
Wonder-Woman
What a glorious April morning!
I watch her in the field, toiling,
Her sleek slender figure wrapped up in a saree,
Like a cuckoo, she sings a heartfelt melody.
Her sun-kissed skin and tired face,
Radiates like bronze in the golden haze,
Those pitch-black locks cascade in air,
As she reaps harvest while humming a prayer.
She is up and going at the onset of dawn,
Pursuing daily chores without a frown,
Her steady and serene presence,
Lights up my life with radiance.
Her high spirits and indomitable grit,
Gives me the courage to face my fits,
Today, I salute her in gratitude
My Wonder-woman, I surrender to your fortitude!!
