Ripples

A drop sets off ripples in still waters

Thoughts sets off ripples in still mind.

An event sets off ripples in life.

Tossed like a boat in storm waters

I am grappling with the rudder of the mind.

Sitting still, breathing in a method

Closed eyes, inner eye focused

Breathe in the peace

Let go the thoughts

In and out, in and out, the breathe

Monkey mind refusing to be bind.

I give up and say let it be.

I hear about the impending storm

May be I think, follow will the calm.
