The poem celebrates the essence of rituals performed in the wedding and its significant role in matrimonial bonding of couples. It is about love in its divine form, it’s holy power and expressing the purest romance and sacredness of marriage.

Drenching under pure water of sanctified streams

For it’s an auspicious day to celebrate and perform

 With romance and rituals, between two soul mates

Under the millions of constellations, in the Universe.

Let the beautiful day bloom on the eight pink lotus

O! Mother help me dress in my golden attire

Offered from our dear Lord in holy observance.

Let the sixteen elements of makeup define beauty.

O, Lord! let the divine pour into my heart

From sprinkle of red colored fingers to feet

And I can feel every sensation of rituals

Every inch of skin pores are  

In five attributes of sacred romance,

Turmeric, sandalwoods, rose petals, milk, and perfume.

Flutes are being played on the music of eternal love

Enough to mesmerize my mind filled with deep love

O! my soul is pulsating to the lovely melodies

 O! Lord, I can smell the fragrant olfacation of romance.

Mother! Help me stop dancing on an effervescent rhythm 

Stirring and spinning my snake long black hair

Shining and decorated with stars like jewels

I can feel the call of my only dear beloved.

A message handover to us, from Our Mother,

“Little Doll! now learned to walk and talk on her own

Turned into a beautiful bride learned to laugh and cry

O, Lord! give her special powers to decorate her married life

And let both of darlings adore as Love is the ritual”.

And I pray to my Dear Lord, Bless me, Bless me!

On this full moon night, to bloom in our nuptial garden

Let me be the better half of my handsome soul

To make us sing a merry song of true romance.
