To live is the rarest thing in the world 

Most people just exist

Some choose to live a life they love, others just resist

Do you want to make things better?

Let me lay it on the line

You truly must remain aware and do it all the time

Some they learn to be alive, other's don't know how

The only way to truly live is in the here and now

There are those who just get stuck, they cannot move ahead

These people might be breathing, but part of them is dead

If we wanna be self masters we must become aware

Pay attention to the moment if in fact you care

We need pursue awareness, that need be our plan, whether you're a woman or whether you're a man

Feel your feet upon the ground no matter where you are

Focus your attention, you'll wind up going far

You'll be a happy person, and this you can be sure

Learn to just be present and life will give you more

Gotta really learn to live a moment at a time, to live life any other way is nothing but a crime 

Awareness has to be a part of everything you do

Everywhere you go in life, your mind must go there too

Don't let your thoughts start wandering from the simple task at hand

When you hear the music playing pay attention to the band

Things will just get better, if we learn not to resist
