She Wasn'T Alone, He Wasn'T Alone
She Wasn'T Alone, He Wasn'T Alone
She wasn’t alone,
She had her thoughts with her;
Sitting in a corner,
Biting her nails,
Her Innocuous eyes
From a distance shone.
Her guileless face
When you talk to her,
Disparate emotions brim;
As I tried hard,
To match her,
Innate loquacious pace.
She was a fresh dew,
In this confluence of beings;
She looked similar,
But yet had her discrete charm
Making her distinct
In this lackadaisical room;
In this obstinate
Materialistic society of ours
Simplicity is all she knew.
But for me,
Recluse, is all I had known,
I chose to be in my shell
Confining my sundry thoughts
In sequestered chambers
Of my intellect;
None could fathom
The obscure nature of mine
But she;
I tried to be with her,
And every moment that passed by,
Compelled me to know her well
Cause today, it was me
Who didn’t want to be alone.
