Ring of Lies and Pain!

Leaning on my windowsill 

In reverie I linger 

I watch the world go by 

And still 

This ring is on my finger

What it means to me is love 

Eternally unbroken

This bond

Between two people 

Often silent and unspoken

When I first met her

She stole my forlorn heart

Now this love is threadbare

Right back at the start

In sadness I take this ring off 

To show the World it's gold

But she
