My colleagues sometimes questions, 

Wasn't it good if we didn't get freedom? 

That would surely decrease the burden

Of remembering names of people who went to heaven

It is their brain who ask such questions, 

Otherwise their hearts just pumps for nation. 

Patriotism among the people is seen everywhere,

India is like mother so hurting it no one can dare.

History is itself the proof of this victory, 

It tells about the efforts made by people extraordinary. 

They gave away their lives fighting for country, 

Was possible bcos of independence they were hungry. 

Getting freedom was full of challenges and struggles, 

Fighters were determined th

All the efforts were made to bring back the 'sone ki chidiya' 

Other nations also helped from the route Germany, japan, malaya

India was reborn on this day before years, 

Our constitution was framed having happy tears. 

Flag was hoisted with pride and respect, 

Now we had a democratic nation with many useful act. 

We celebrate this occasion with enthusiasm & joy, 

Flags are hoisted with pride by girls and boys. 

Everyone's murmuring the songs for mother nation,

On this very bright day no one's gaining frustration. 

Vande mataram! With pride let's say,
