Purpose Of Life
Purpose Of Life
You once asked me of life's purpose,
And I faltered, my voice a mere whisper.
The stories I told were but shattered dreams,
A smile pasted on, to mask my deepest fears.
I never dared to try, so afraid to fail,
My aspirations lost in a sea of doubt.
The scales were tipped, the balance skewed,
Leaving emptiness where hope should be found.
The path ahead seemed clear, yet unclear,
No signs to guide me, no map to steer.
The weight of expectation pressed down hard,
Without a plan, my future appeared marred.
But still, I held onto faith,
A steadfast belief in what could be.
For though my journey may have been flawed,
My spirit remained unbroken, wild and free.
