Painting Rainbows
Painting Rainbows
Little birds pranced up and down
Playfully pricking their way
Across pockets of windy fragrances,
While the garden beneath them
Sparkled with white magnolias
Blooming ceremoniously.
Stolen colours of
Sundry sources
Filled them up
With flavours of dreamy ecstasy.
And right after the morning drizzle
They made their way
Up to the pale sunlit sky,
Along the bridge they built
Painting an upside down smile across the blue
Leaving behind a dramatic trail
Of handpicked shades of happiness,
And named it the rainbow.
