As the sunlight slowly fades away...

And the clouds engulf the final rays...

The raindrops wash away my pain...

My heart pleads, oh dear rain! Oh dear rain!


The sound of the shower on the streets...

The cold water flowing between my feet...

The children are playing once again...

Singing joyfully, Oh dear rain! Oh dear rain!


Now the clouds have gone away...

Humble tears and childish dismay...

Only wet grounds and memories remain...

My heart cries once more, Oh dear rain! Oh dear rain!
