Nightmares
Nightmares
Fear, Fear, Go away,
Why must you come with a nightmare every day?
Whatever she sees it's just not a dream,
Can't you hear her silent scream?
She was a child, and was just three,
But sadly, the memories didn't flee,
It occupied her mind,
What's the reason, She's yet to find;
In the darkest of nights,
The crime shines bright,
Which gave her nothing, but a lot of pain,
Her mother was crying, She was trying,
But nothing worked, She was helpless,
Instead of her strenuous efforts, she couldn't help,
This made her more vexed, as she felt she's worthless;
Her mother was choking, she was invoking,
But no one answered, she was shattered,
The child couldn't do anything,
But to watch her mother inflicted to pain.
She was so small, but the fear took a toll,
Her mother revived, but the memories keep haunting her eyesight,
That night a child lost her innocence and became quiet without any defense.
She is twenty now,
But still, the nightmare's won't go away,
May God bless her,
To get better day by day.
