My Family

Family is the most important part of our life. So my poem here is about my family.

Family is fun

And it is sad for those who have none.

I'll start with my mother

As she has said, not to start with any other.

She's good with books

But don't ask me how she cooks.

She feeds me like a bull

And keeps giving till I am full.

She's little fair

And takes a lot of care

I never fear

When she's near.

My father is very tall

And takes me to the mall

He holds me when I fall

And that's not all

He works all day

And does whatever I say

He's fun to play

He makes me so gay

Sometimes he's too strong

Teaches me good results might take long.

I have a cousin brother, who's very funny

We enjoy a lot, which we cant buy with money.

We often fight

But become friends when he holds me tight

Grandma and Grandpa, I love you a lot

For all the good things that you've taught

I love to listen to your bedtime stories

They make me forget all worldly theories

Being with you is so much fun

I feel I am the special one

Giving hugs is what elders do the best

But you do it better than all the rest

Its no secret, and it's true

Grandma and Grandpa, this heart beats for you
