So, why is the fool so foolish? Reasonable

Believe in the better behavior of people; that humanity

Can or could achieve its potential over its baser behavior

Ascend to its heights and raise their potential. It’s simple.

Desire less, starve ego and pride; share equitably;

Acknowledge those around you; they too are human beings

Do I hear a flurry of “what about.’s”? Surely not?

You, sir, are a dangerous individual, committed to the demise

Of our capitalist and social system. You say we are prisoners of the system

While the market leaders play with thoughts, feelings, and emotions

By manipulating our consuming passion to have and get more

Manipulating our sense of never having enough

So, why does my presence anger you? I express my opinions

Calmly, without rancor or blame; speak assertively, with feeling

Why does it upset you? Might it, perchance, trigger questions

In your mind; that you ruthlessly exclude? Just wondering

Does diversity scare you? Do differences offend you?

Is your capacity to understand and accept so limited?

I apologise if I intrude. I seek only human conversation

And companionship. Do you shrug and ignore me?

Day, in words or your behavior; you cannot enrich my life

(materially or socially), begone, Fool o a Hill! Go home. Begone.
