Mr. Razorblade

Dear Mr. Razorblade, you have caused all the scars that’ll never fade.

I have a love-hate relationship with you,

You are the only one who listens but it takes blood in order too.

You make me feel the pain I cannot show, due to the fact I’m afraid to go.

One slide is all it takes, oh my, the scars it makes.

Alone on the bathroom floor, or behind an abandoned grocery store.

No matter where I go you are always here, especially when nobody seems to care.

The way people look at my arm,

It starts an alarm.

Professionals trying to talk me out of it,

Tell them you are fine,

Leave them out for a bit.

I am sure going to miss you,

But leaving me is the best for us two.
