Wanna forget these days

When nothing feels right

These couple of years

All those fights

All the tears I cried

And those sleepless nights

All came crashing down at once

All the roads blocked

I stood still

Choking on those memories

Lamenting for the loss of my happy soul

Lost in the darkness of my nightmares

Tried to smile put a happy mask on

But when the darkness of night engulfed me I just couldn't keep going on

My broken heart shattered into pieces

Will I ever get rid of this pain?

The pain that cut my wings and brought me down

When I was soaring high in the sky

The joyous days feel long gone now

With the sorrows which took them over

I wait for them to be over

For once I wanna forget these days

Close this chapter

And move on with a smile
