Every morning I’ll give you the feeling of balminess

I’ll gift you days that are full of steaminess

I always make your hands and back clammy

I’ll wake up all the folks who are lazy and dreamy

The sweltering days of mine may make you tired

The scorching light of mine may give you a tan

The blistering weather of mine may cause prickly heat

The blazing shine of mine may hurt your eyes with its glare

I am not so cruel; I have some tropical gifts to make you feel breezy

Let lychee, the eye of mine, change your day from being muggy

Let watermelon, the smile of mine, change your look from being sultry

Let mango, the face of mine, change your mind from being sticky

These fruits are similar to a human’s material body

What about the soul? It is the source, the real water body

To enjoy me beyond my nature, you are bound to save the soul

Save every droplet of water then, I will always be fruitful
