Life: A Walkthrough
Life: A Walkthrough
My heart bubbles like a cauldron
Emitting vapours of emotions
That had been so foreign
To my brain: forbidden and forgotten
My mind was caged and locked
Behind the bars of 'crucial commandments'
Dust and webs covered the empty gaps
And that is how it got blocked
The only ones which could seep out
Were anger, envy and greed:
They caused a dreadful drought
Where would a joyous life breed?
A speck of hope within
Brewed up sentiments, never felt before
A downpour of realisation from my eyes
Washed off the arid lands ashore
The land, now moist, depicted signs of germination
I had sown several seeds with an affirmation
As the first golden ray befell the sprouts
It eroded the existence of doubts
I nourished those saplings
With utmost love and care
My fertile heart sings
Songs of rejuvenation with cheer
