Flowers white as 

puffs of clouds moving

in the blue blue skies

symbolising it's time

for festivities

Starting with Mahalaya

When Goddess Durga

begins her journey

towards terra firma

in tow with her

four children

Taking leave from 

Lord Shiva for a vacation

to her Parent's home

And we know She 

brings with Her 

immeasurable joy

for us on earth waiting

in anticipation for

Her annual arrival.

A time to heal 

A time to bury 

all ill feelings
